HELP & FAQ
Answers, in one place.
The questions buyers, sellers and specialists ask most. If yours is not here, the Onora desk replies personally, usually within one business day.
FOR BUYERS
Buying through Onora
Browsing, enquiring and what happens after you send a request.
What is Onora Capital?
Onora Capital is an online marketplace for property abroad. Sellers publish their listings, and buyers find those listings and contact the seller directly. Onora is not a real estate agent, broker, intermediary or adviser, and is not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller.
Does it cost anything to buy through Onora?
No. Browsing listings, saving them, comparing them and sending an enquiry to a seller are all free for buyers. Onora never charges a buyer a fee, a commission or a percentage of a purchase.
Who do I speak to when I send a request?
The seller of that listing, directly. Your request goes straight to the office that published the property, together with the details you confirmed in the request form. There is no middleman relaying messages, and Onora does not negotiate on your behalf.
Why do I have to create an account before I can send a request?
A seller receives real contact details, not an anonymous form. The account holds your name, your contact details and a short profile of what you are looking for, so the seller can reply properly the first time. If you have already saved those details, a later request only asks you to confirm them.
What does the Onora Score on a listing mean?
The Onora Score runs from 0 to 100 and measures how complete the information a seller has provided is, plus how that seller performs on the marketplace, for example how quickly they answer buyers. It is not advice, not a valuation, and not a verdict on the property as a purchase. A full breakdown is on the Onora Score page.
Does Onora verify the listings and the figures?
No. Sellers are responsible for everything they publish, including prices, dimensions, yields and documents. Onora does not audit, value or endorse those figures. Do your own research on every listing and every number, and take independent professional advice before you commit to anything.
Prices are shown in different currencies. Which one is real?
Every listing is quoted in the currency the seller sells in, so a property in Dubai is priced in AED and one in Spain in EUR. The currency toggle in the top bar converts the display for orientation only. The seller's own currency and amount are the ones that count.
FOR SELLERS
Selling and listing on Onora
Packages, publishing, and how enquiries arrive.
Who can list on Onora?
Estate agencies, developers and owners selling property abroad. You create a seller account, complete your company profile and choose a package. Your listings go live once they meet the publishing requirements.
What does listing cost?
You pay for a package, sized by how many listings you keep live at a time. Every current package, price and minimum term is on the pricing page, and the same card appears inside your workspace under Billing. Prices exclude VAT.
Does Onora take a commission on a sale?
No. Onora earns from placement and visibility only, never from your transactions. There is no success fee, no percentage of the sale price and no referral fee, whether or not the buyer found the property on Onora.
Where do buyer enquiries end up?
In your workspace, under Client requests and in your inbox, with the buyer's contact details and what they told us they are looking for. You reply to the buyer yourself. How fast you answer feeds into your Onora Score, so it is worth being quick.
Can I upload my listings automatically?
Yes. Onora reads a property feed in several common formats, and there is a REST API for offices that prefer to push listings themselves. Your account manager sets the feed up with you, and the field by field specification is available on request.
How do I raise my Onora Score?
Fill the listing in completely: real photos, a written description, the exact location, the key facts, the features, the investment details and any documents you can share. Keep the information current, and answer buyers quickly. The score page explains what each part is worth.
Is there more detailed help inside my account?
Yes. The Help Center in your seller workspace holds step by step guides for listings, imports, billing, your profile and the Onora Score, and it is where you open a support ticket. Every workspace page also carries a Help button with the guides for that page.
FOR SPECIALISTS
Find your specialist
Buying agencies, financial advisers, financing specialists, notaries, lawyers and currency specialists.
What is Find your specialist?
A directory of offices that help buyers through a purchase abroad: buying agencies, financial advisers, financing specialists, notaries, lawyers and currency specialists. A buyer finds an office, answers a few questions about what they need, and the request goes to that office directly.
How do I get my office listed?
Take a specialist package from the pricing page, then build your profile in the specialist setup inside your workspace. One subscription covers every service category your office selects.
Does paying more put my office higher in the list?
No. The Featured Specialist add-on gives your office a larger card in the directory, with more room and a bigger image. It never changes the order of the list.
Do I pay for leads?
No. Requests from buyers reach your office at no extra cost, and Onora takes no share of any fee you agree with a client.
ACCOUNT, DATA AND MONEY
Your account and your data
Access, privacy, invoices and cancellation.
I cannot log in. What now?
Use the forgotten password link on the login screen to set a new one. If the reset mail does not arrive, check the spam folder first, then write to info@onoracapital.com from the address on the account and the desk will sort it out.
Who can see my contact details?
A buyer's details go to the seller of the listing they enquired about, and to nobody else. A seller's public details are the ones on their own profile and listings. Onora does not sell contact data and does not pass it to advertisers. The privacy statement sets out the full picture.
How do I change or delete my account?
Everything on your account lives under Settings once you are signed in. To close an account and have the data removed, write to info@onoracapital.com from the address on the account.
Where do I find my invoices?
Under Billing in your seller workspace, together with your current package, its renewal date and any minimum term still running.
How do I cancel a package?
From Billing in your workspace. A package with a minimum term runs to the end of that term, which is stated on the pricing card and in your agreement before you buy. Onora Single has no minimum term and can be stopped per month.
Something on the site looks wrong. Where do I report it?
Write to info@onoracapital.com with a link to the page and, if you can, a screenshot. Sellers can also open a ticket from the Help Center in their workspace, which reaches the same desk with the account already attached.
